I continue to be blown away by how amazing these pages are looking in colour. Kate and Nathan are doing such a fab job ^_^
It can be hard, when you’re working as the artist on a longform book like this, to stay happy with what you’re doing. You’re alone, sending pages off into the ether, and you can start to doubt yourself. But when I see the pages come back all coloured up, they make me feel positive all over again. ^_^
Blunt by name…
Alan Blunt is nothing if not honest :D
This is very much NOT official ;)
So the amazing John Allison (bad machinery - check it out!) decided to ink over the pencils I posted up this morning, which was super useful of him as meeting rooms are tiresome to ink.
The result was pretty awesome and so I quickly edited Scorpia to fit his work in. Works fine, don’t you think? ^__^
A bit of fun and nonsense :)
Back from Edinburgh and this is the first panel on my inking board. AAAARGH - SEND HELP!
As you can imagine, it’s getting harder and harder to show anything that doesn’t throw up spoilers for those who haven’t ever read Scorpia - but this is safe, right. Just Alex and Blunt - hanging out.
Not all teenage life lessons are equal 0_O
Can we order one hug here please?
Release dates of Scorpia graphic novel
We don’t know for sure, yet. Should be some time in 2015, I would think, but don’t quote us on that! ;)
As soon as we know, we’ll announce it on here, promise.
What have you got there, Alex?
